Anne Arundel Police Recover Crack-Cocaine, Heroin Following Traffic Stop in Brooklyn Park


Anne Arundel County Police say crack-cocaine and heroin were recovered following a traffic stop in Brooklyn Park.

On January 27, 2020 at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Doris Avenue near Ruth Street in Brooklyn Park.

 Investigation led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the recovery of a clear plastic baggie containing suspected Crack-Cocaine. 

The driver and passenger were detained.

 Further investigation resulted in the recovery of a clear bag containing 46 capsules of Heroin (10.6 grams / value $460) and 13 plastic containers of Crack-Cocaine 4.5 grams / value $449).

 The passenger was arrested and transported to Northern District for processing. The driver was released without charges.
