Two Suspects in Custody for Prince George County Homicide

Homicide Unit detectives charged two suspects in connection with a homicide in Beltsville that occurred in November. The suspects are 28-year-old Sebastion St. John of the 14800 block of Melfordshire Way in Silver Spring and 22-year-old Raymond Thompson of the 11200 block of Evans Trail in Beltsville. They’re charged in connection with the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Samie Neil of Adelphi.

On November 12th, at approximately 4:40 pm, patrol officers were called to the 3500 block of Powder Mill Road for the report of a shooting. They discovered Neil in a car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals that the victim and St. John were acquaintances.  Detectives are still working to determine the motive behind the fatal shooting.
St. John and Thompson are both charged with first and second degree murder. A court commissioner ordered them held on a no-bond status.
