GoFundMe Established for Homicide Victim’s Funeral Expense

A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family of Sandy Santiago 'Dukes' Campos, an Annapolis High School student who was killed in a shooting off of Forest Drive early Wednesday morning.

$4,900 had been raised as of 11 p.m. Friday.

"He has left us with some beautiful and creative memories," the fundraiser description reads. "We all have a great Sandy story."

The funds from the campaign will be used toward funeral expenses.

According to law enforcement officials, at about 1:47 a.m. Wednesday, emergency medical professionals found Sandy's body outside a residence in the 600 block of Skipjack Court.

Campos, a sophmore at Annapolis High, was working towards being able to graduate in the Spring of 2021, according to Bianca Campos, Sandy's sister. "He was the most honest person I ever met."
