Approximately 15,800 Chickens Killed in Caroline County Chicken House Fire

Officials with the Office of Maryland State Fire Marshall are investigating a federalsburg fire which resulted in pproximately 15,800 chickens perishing. 

The fire was reported at 10:30am on December 21, as about 50 firefighters from the Federalsburg Volunteer Fire Company responded to a farm on Pepper Road in Federalsburg.
