Elderly Woman Takes on Would-Be Burglars During Home Invasion in Severna Park; Suspects Remain At Large


An elderly woman fought back against two would-be burglars during a recent Severna Park home invasion, police say. 

On February 10, 2020 at approximately 8:00 a.m., officers responded for a home invasion in the 90 block of Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. 

Two male suspects entered the residence and struck the victim, a 75 year old woman, with an unknown object. 

The victim struck one of the suspects with a crowbar and both suspects fled. 

It is unclear what the suspects' intent was as no demands were made to the victim by either suspect during this incident. The victim declined medical treatment. 

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

Suspects:
1) White male, approximately 6'00", 200 lbs wearing dark clothing and stocking face mask
2) Black male, approximately 6'00", 200 lbs wearing dark clothing and stocking face mask
