Early Morning Crash in Pasadena Sends 56 Year Old Woman to Shock Trauma, Fire Officials Say


An early morning motor vehicle crash in Pasadena sent a 56 year woman to Cowley Shock Trauma Center with injuries that were serious but not believed life-threatening. 


This morning at 2:42am, firefighters responded to a reported motor vehicle collision with an occupant trapped in the 4400 block of Mountain Road. Responders located a single-vehicle accident involving a sedan that left the roadway, struck a utility pole and apparently rolled over several times. 

The 56-year-old female driver and only occupant of the vehicle was trapped until extricated by firefighters in about 30 minutes. A Maryland State Police medevac helicopter landed at the Lake Shore Athletic Complex and flew the patient to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with injuries that were serious but not believed life-threatening.
