Elderly Man Sustains Serious Injuries Following Auto-Pedestrian Accident in Annapolis, Officials Say


An elderly man was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries following an auto-pedestrian accident in Annapolis. 

Yesterday at 5:15pm, firefighters responded to a multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting a pedestrian struck in the 2500 block of Housley Road in Annapolis. 

Responders located a 68-year-old male patient who had been struck by a vehicle. A Maryland State Police medevac helicopter landed at Bestgate Park and transported the patient to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with serious but not believed life-threatening injuries.
