Former Alderman, Retired Annapolis Police Officer George Kelley Sr. Has Died

Former ward 4 alderman and retired Annapolis City Police Officer George Oliver Kelley Sr. has passed away. He was 64 years old. 

Kelley passed away on July 17, 2021, according to an online obituary. He served on the Annapolis City Council from 2001-2005. Kelley also attended John Jay Criminal Justice College in New York City before starting his career with the Annapolis Police Department in 1988.  He retired from the department in 2001. 

A funeral service is expected to take place on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Reese and Sons Mortuary in Annapolis.
