Baltimore Man Arrested on Drug and Gun Charges in Glen Burnie, Police Say

A man from Baltimore was arrested and charged in connection with a CDS and weapons violation following a brief investigation in Glen Burnie. 

On June 28, 2021, at approximately 8:00 p.m., officers observed a suspected hand-to-hand CDS transaction in the area of the 100 block of Holsum Way. Officers stopped the suspects, who were operating a black Nissan, in the area of the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway. 

Upon approaching the vehicle, the officers detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The investigation resulted in a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of the following items:

30.84 grams of suspected marijuana
2.76 grams of suspected cocaine
3 Oxycodone pills
2 Tramadol Hydrochloride pills
45 Alprazolam pills
Clear plastic container containing suspected THC wax, 4.67 grams 
Digital scale
Black Taurus .40 caliber handgun with 8 rounds of ammunition
$2,140.00 U.S. currency
