Annapolis Police Investigates Two Early Friday Morning Assaults
Police in Annapolis are investigating two separate assaults which occured early this morning.
Today at approximately 1:49am, officers responded to the unit block of Dock Street for a reported assault. Upon arrival, two adult victims advised they were approached by a group of subjects ranging in age between 18-23. The suspects sprayed the victims with an unknown aerosol spray before running away. No injuries to the victims were reported.
About one hour later, police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Madison Street. An adult female victim reportedly was approached by 3-4 unknown females at which time she was assaulted. The victim suffered minor injuries, suspects have not yet been identified.
Officials did not say whether or not they believe the same suspects were involved in both assaults, or if the incidents are related.
