Annapolis Man, 29, Held Without Bond After Allegedly Assaulting Woman on Newtowne Drive

A 29 year old man from Annapolis was ordered to be held without bond following an arrest for allegedly assaulting a woman on Newtown Drive, police department officials said today. 

Authorities say this morning at approximately 2:04am, officers responded to the 700 block of Newtowne Drive for a reported domestic related assault. Upon arrival, the victim, Diamond Holland, advised that her boyfriend, Allen Edger Randall, strangled her during a dispute until she lost consciousness. 

Mr. Randall was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.
