Police: Samuel Sheeder, 27, of Annapolis, Dies Following Accident on West Street and Brewer Avenue

The Annapolis Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that reportedly left a local man with fatal injuries. 

According to department officials, the accident occurred yesterday in the area of West Street and Brewer Avenue.  "At approximately 6:58 p.m., officers responded to the scene. The crash involved an individual on a motorized scooter. The preliminary investigation indicates that Samuel Sheeder, 27, of Annapolis, was riding the scooter when he struck a curb and lost control. No other vehicles were involved," the police department stated. "Mr. Sheeder sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he later died."
