Ward 4 Aldermanic Candidate Janice Allsup- Johnson Advances to Uncontested General Election Following Win Over Democratic Primary Challenger

Ward 4 Aldermanic Candidate Janice Allsup-Johnson has advanced to an uncontested general election after securing a win during the September primary. 
According to officials, Allsup-Johnson defeated challenger Coren Makell in the primary election held on September 16, 2025, with 50.70% of the votes. All candidates who prevail in the November general election will be sworn into office on Monday, December 1, 2025.
