Anne Arundel County Police Department, Sheriff's Office Attends Annual Blue Mass in Baltimore

The Anne Arundel County Police Department and the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office were well represented at the annual Blue Mass held Sunday at St. Joseph’s Monastery Parish in Baltimore.

The Blue Mass is a longstanding tradition that brings together first responders from across the region to honor those who serve and remember those lost in the line of duty. It is a solemn but powerful event recognizing the daily sacrifices made by law enforcement, fire, and emergency personnel.

Uniformed members from both Anne Arundel agencies joined their brothers and sisters in service for the ceremony, standing in unity and showing unwavering support for the law enforcement profession.

"Today, Cpl. Middleton proudly represented the Anne Arundel County Police Department at the Archdiocese of Baltimore’s Blue Mass, honoring First Responders and Public Safety Professionals. Police and Fire Departments from across the Baltimore Region came together in solemn remembrance of our fallen heroes, reflecting on their service and sacrifice," the police department said.

"Today, members of our command staff, along with Sheriff Everett Sesker, attended the Blue Mass to honor first responders and public safety professionals," the Sheriff's Office said. "We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside our brothers and sisters in public safety as we remember the sacrifices made and celebrate the dedication of those who serve our communities each day."

The representation at the Blue Mass reflects the deep commitment local law enforcement has to duty, honor, and community.
