Officials Announce Investigation Following Report of Shots Fired on Tyler Avenue in Annapolis
Authorities in Annapolis have announced an active investigation into a reported shots fired incident on Tyler Avenue.
Earlier today, just before 11:00 AM, the Annapolis Police Department received a report of shots fired near Tyler Heights. Authorities are currently on the scene conducting a thorough investigation. Officials have clarified that while the incident occurred in the vicinity of Tyler Heights Elementary School, it is not a school-involved incident, and there is no immediate threat to anyone at the school. Nevertheless, as a precautionary measure, Anne Arundel County Public Schools has placed all schools in the Annapolis cluster, with the exception of Annapolis High, in "secure mode."
