Man Arrested and Charged on Weapons Violation in Severn, Police Say

A 21 year old man was recently arrested and charged on a gun related violation while driving in the Severn Area, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

On November 28, 2021, at approximately 4:05 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a black 2007 Mercedes sedan on Deerfield Drive near Pioneer Drive in Severn. During the stop, probable cause for a search was developed and a loaded Polymer 80 9mm handgun was located. 

The driver was arrested, charged accordingly and identified as:
