Anne Arundel County Police Arrest Severna Park Woman on Area Residential Burglary Allegations
The Anne Arundel County Police Department has announced the arrest of a resident of Severna Park in connection with allegations of reported burglaries in the area.
According to police department officials, on September 17, 2025, their officers responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 100 block of Jennings Road in Severna Park. "The investigation revealed the female suspect made a forced entry into the home and stole several items of value. Detectives obtained surveillance video showing a possible suspect in the case," department officials said. "A social media post requesting assistance in identifying the suspect led to multiple tips. Detectives learned this suspect was also involved in two residential burglaries being investigated by the Howard County Police Department."
Through tips received from the public, detectives were able to identify the suspect in this case. The suspect was arrested and charged via an arrest warrant for the daytime burglary in Anne Arundel County. On Friday, September 26, 2025, with assistance from Howard County Police and the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in Glen Burnie and on the suspect’s vehicle, resulting in the recovery of several items of evidentiary value.
The woman, who remains innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, was identified by authorities as Shannon Kira Gough, 43.
