Millersville Teacher Facing Child Sex Abuse Allegations Pastors Church in Jessup, Police Say

The Anne Arundel County Police Department announced today, July 25, 2025, the arrest of a Millersville private school teacher and Jessup church pastor. This arrest follows an investigation into alleged sexual misconduct involving students.

Officials said on May 1, 2025, Eastern District officers responded to Elvaton Christian Academy in Millersville regarding a sex offense complaint. Documents say officers met with two parents who reported inappropriate sexual behavior by a former teacher towards their children.

Detectives from the Child and Vulnerable Adult Abuse Unit investigated the allegations. The suspect, employed by Elvaton Christian Academy from 2020 to 2025, is also the Pastor of Jessup Baptist Church and associated with Mission Fields International, the police department stated. 

The investigation identified five victims, leading to an arrest warrant for the suspect, the department said. According to police, charges include sexual abuse of a minor, sexual offense - fourth degree, and child abuse. The Fugitive Apprehension Team arrested the suspect today, July 25, 2025.
