B.G.E Releases Statement Following Annapolis Police Department Safety Advisory Concerning Video of Individual Allegedly Posing as Employee
BGE has issued a statement after the Annapolis Police Department released a safety alert featuring a ring camera video of an unidentified individual appearing to be allegedly posing as a BGE employee.
"Never open your door to someone you do not recognize. Ask for a photo ID through a window. All BGE employees and contractors carry company ID badges displaying their name, photograph and identification number. To verify a BGE employee's identity or work being done, call us at 1- 800-685-0123. If a customer thinks they have been a victim of a utility-related scam, please fill out this form."
