Anne Arundel County Police Apprehend Man and Juvenile from Pasadena in Connection with Alleged Robbery on Fort Smallwood Road

A 20 year old man and a juvenile, both residents of Pasadena, are facing charges in connection with an alleged robbery that reportedly occurred recently on Fort Smallwood Road. 

According to police department officials, on June 27, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a citizen robbery in the 8000 block of Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena. A 22-year-old male inside the C-Mart was assaulted and robbed of his belongings by a male and female suspect, a press release states.  Official said that the male suspect punched the victim multiple times, knocking him to the ground, while the female suspect sprayed the victim with mace. The suspects took property from the victim before fleeing the scene, authorities stated in the press release.

The press release stated that responding officers quickly located the female suspect, and the male suspect was found inside an occupied residence he had burglarized in an attempt to evade police. 

Both suspects were arrested, charged and identified as: 

* Marquis Brown, 20-year-old male, Pasadena, Maryland

* 17-year-old female, Pasadena, Maryland
