Suspects Arrested During Traffic Stop in Linthicum Linked to Attempted Robbery of Glen Burnie Store

Two men recently pulled over by police in Linthicum were linked to the attempted robbery of a Glen Burnie area store.

On August 4, 2022, at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a reported stolen vehicle in the area of Nursery Road and Raynor Avenue, police said in a press release.  "During the investigation, officers learned that the vehicle was reported stolen in Baltimore in July 2022, the release states.  "During the subsequent search of the vehicle, officers found approximately 141 grams of suspected marijuana, 98 oxycodone pills, and four capsules of suspected heroin. "

Authorities said the vehicle contained evidence related to an attempted robbery of the Cash Depot located at 7424 E. Furnace Branch Road in Glen Burnie on August 3, 2022.  

Continued investigation revealed that the passenger had outstanding warrants, police said. Both the driver and passenger were arrested, charged accordingly and identified as:
