Brooklyn Park Traffic Stop Yields Arrests of Two Men on Drug, Gun Charges

A routine traffic stop in the Brooklyn Park area  has led to the arrests of two men on drug and gun possession charges. 

According to an Anne Arundel County Police Department press release, an officer conducted a traffic stop of a silver Infiniti in the area of Ritchie Highway and Townsend Avenue on August 2, 2022, at approximately 4:05 p.m. "A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a loaded .40 caliber Glock 23 handgun, a loaded .40 caliber Polymer 80 handgun, and approximately 577.12 grams of suspected marijuana," department officials wrote in the press release. "The passenger is prohibited from possessing firearms."
 
Both occupants were arrested, charged accordingly and identified by police as:
