Police: Handgun, Suspected Crack Cocaine Allegedly Recovered During Traffic Stop in Annapolis

Officers with the Annapolis Police Department allegedly recovered a handgun and suspected crack cocaine during a recent traffic stop, authorities say.  

On Friday, May 29 at 6pm, officers were conducting a traffic stop in the area of Forest Drive and Thom Drive when the front seat passenger of the vehicle fled on foot, according to police. Officers allegedly located the subject and recovered a handgun and suspected crack cocaine.

 Marlon Green, 32, of Annapolis was charged with possession of these items, he is prohibited from possessing firearms. Green was charged with 13 criminal charges related to the possession of the handgun and illegal drugs. 

He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
