Annapolis Teen Charged as an Adult Following Arrest on Firearm Related Offenses

Annapolis Police officials have charged a 17 year old teenager as an adult after he was recently arrested on several firearm related offenses.  

On Sunday afternoon, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Severn Avenue and Burnside Street.  The officers located a handgun in the possession of the driver of the vehicle.  The subject identified as, Jriley Downs, 17, of Annapolis, was charged as an adult with possession of a firearm and five other charges related to the crime.  

He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
