Three Subjects Arrested Following Shooting on Newtowne Drive in Annapolis

Days after two men were shot on Newtowne Drive, the Annapolis Police Department is investigating another shooting in area. 

On Thursday, August 14, 2025, at approximately 2:43 p.m., APD officers responded to a potential shots-fired incident on Newtowne Drive. Officers received information that an unknown subject was driving onto Newtowne Drive and proceeded to let off a single shot in the vicinity. Upon hearing this, officers began a search for the vehicle involved. When officers approached the vehicle during a traffic stop, three unknown subjects were in the vehicle and taken into custody.

Additional details were not immediately available. 

On Saturday August 9, 2025, police arrived at the scene in the 700 block around 9:30 pm and found the victims, approximately aged 40 and 36, with gunshot wounds. They were subsequently transported to a hospital by helicopter
