Authorities Identify Christopher Gordon Leclaire, 51, as Person Found Dead in Annapolis' Duvall Creek

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police has confirmed the identity of the deceased individual found in Duval Creek as Christopher Gordon Leclaire, 51, of Annapolis. 

On Sunday, August 10, at 10:05 a.m., Maryland Natural Resources Police officers responded to a call reporting a body in the water near the Hillsmere Shores community kayak launch in Annapolis, situated on Duvall Creek. The Anne Arundel Fire Department recovered Mr. Leclaire's remains. Upon arrival, officers found a backpack and personal belongings on shore, belonging to the deceased. An autopsy is scheduled at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.
