Jared Littmann, Annapolis Mayoral Candidate, Announces Endorsement from Gil Weidenfeld, Annapolis Resident & Former Mayor of Greenbelt

Mayoral Candidate Jared Littmann has announced the endorsement of Gil Weidenfeld, an Annapolis resident and former Mayor of Greenbelt.

Mr. Littmann provided the following statement regarding the endorsement:

"I picked up another endorsement today! This one was from former Mayor of Greenbelt and current Annapolis resident, Gil Weidenfeld, who served as mayor for 18 years! We bonded over shared experiences of being engineers and lawyers who served the community. I enjoyed meeting Gil and our conversation, especially seeing his face light up when discussing some of his proudest accomplishments."

Additionally, Mr. Weidenfeld daughter shared this statement:

"Jared Littmann is running for mayor of Annapolis, MD. My father, Gil Weidenfeld, was one of the longest-serving mayors of Greenbelt, MD, and now resides in Annapolis. Today, Jared visited my father, and they discussed their similar backgrounds—both were born in NY, moved to NJ, and later to Annapolis, and both hold engineering and law degrees. They also discussed the responsibilities of being a mayor and key issues for Annapolis. My father believes Jared is extremely qualified and has given him his full endorsement for mayor."
