Naval Academy Graduate, Severna Park Business Owner Honored by Marquis Who's Who Publication

Chet Seto, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and managing director of CJSeto Support Services LLC, has been selected for Marquis Who’s Who, a publication that has recognized accomplished individuals since 1899.

CJSeto Support Services LLC, with an office in Severna Park, provides professional staff support services to the federal government in areas such as environmental health and safety, training, logistics, engineering, and information technology. While semi-retired, Seto focuses on business development, asset management, and client relationships.

Marquis Who’s Who selects individuals based on their current reference value, considering factors like position, accomplishments, visibility, and prominence.

Seto graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography. He served over three decades in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator and flight instructor, retiring as a Captain (O-6). During his time in the reserves, he held leadership positions, including Commanding Officer of three reserve units.

His experience in environmental management influenced his entrepreneurial path. He developed a program that expanded beyond Ventura County to other agencies, which became foundational clients for CJSeto Support Services LLC.

Seto is also active in professional and community organizations. He serves as a board member for an environmental careers non-profit and volunteers as an assistant squash coach for the Academy’s squash club team. In 2018, he became chairman of Friends of Navy Squash, which supports the Navy’s varsity squash program.
