Annapolis Police Department Seeks Donations for Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

The Annapolis Police Department is hosting its Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive and is asking for the community's support to help make this holiday season special for local families. The goal this year is to provide complete holiday meals to 30 families in need within our community.

They are currently seeking donations of traditional Thanksgiving meal items, including potatoes, onions, gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, green beans, and stuffing. In addition, the department is also collecting other essential pantry staples such as pasta, peanut butter, cereal, canned meals, and baby food to support families beyond the holiday meal.

Donations can be dropped off at the Annapolis Police Department headquarters, located at 199 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis, by November 17th.

The department emphasizes that "Every donation helps make Thanksgiving nutritious and bountiful for our neighbors," and your generosity can truly make a significant difference in ensuring our neighbors have a warm and fulfilling holiday season.
