Armed Subject Arrested Near Odenton Apartment Complex Following Police Pursuit

A subject armed with a firearm was arrested near an apartment complex in Odenton after leading authorities on a brief pursuit. 

On January 24, 2022, at approximately 6:05 a.m., officers responded to a report of an armed subject in an apartment building in the 8300 block of Telegraph Road. As officers arrived on the scene, they observed a male matching the description given by the caller. Officers attempted to speak with the male, however, the male fled in a vehicle. 

Officers located the male and discovered that he is prohibited from possessing firearms. A 9mm Highpoint rifle was recovered. 

The male was arrested, charged accordingly and identified as:
