Driver Found in Wooded Area With Serious Injuries Following Single-Vehicle Accident Near Galesville

Fire officials say a 29 year old man was found in a wooded area with serious injuries about 90 minutes after being involved in a single-vehicle accident near Galesville. 

This morning at 6:29 am., rescue units with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to the area of Muddy Creek Road and Pennbrooke Court for a reported motor vehicle collision.  Upon arrival, first responders located a single-vehicle accident involving a pickup truck with no driver on the scene. Both Police and firefighters searched the neaby woods in efforts to find the driver.  

At approximately 8am., the driver was reportedly  located in a wooded area near the 500 block of Owensville Road.  He was later transported to an area trauma center with serious injuries.
