Anne Arundel County Police Department Holds Annual Shop with a Cop Event at Walmart in Pasadena

The Anne Arundel County Police Department held its annual Shop with a Cop event today. 

Police Chief Amal Awad and dozens of county officers voluntered to help more than 40 children buy gifts for themselves and family members at the Walmart in Pasadena.  Each child was given a $100 gift card, courtesy of the Ft. Smallwood Optimist Club.

After shopping, the officers and children enjoyed lunch at Two Rivers Steakhouse on Mountain Road.
