Nearly 4 Dozen Xanax Pills, Suspected Marijuana Recovered from Vehicle Outside Area Wawa Store
A man from Annapolis was taken into custody after police recovered suspected marijuana and nearly 4 dozen xanax pills from a occupied vehicle while parked outside an area Wawa Store.
On May 23, 2020 at 9:50 a.m. officers responded to the WaWa located at 628 Admiral Drive for a report of two subjects slumped over inside a vehicle.
Upon arrival officers located a purple Volvo occupied by two subjects. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers noticed the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle and observed a small amount of suspected marijuana within the vehicle. Officers observed the driver attempt to discard a container with 45 suspected Xanax pills.
The driver, Tarsicio Manuel Hernandez, 20, did not have a prescription for Xanax and was transported to Southern District where he was charged accordingly.
