First of Two Same Day Shots Fired Incidents in Annapolis Sends Man to Hospital with Related Injuries


Annapolis Police officers responded to multiple shots fired incidents occuring within minutes apart yesterday.  An adult male was hospitalized with injuries sustained in one of the shootings, officials say. 

On Wednesday 05/13 at 3:15pm, officers responded to the 1100 block of Madison Street for a report of shots fired.  When officers arrived they located an adult male victim.  The victim was transported to a hospital with related injuries. Detectives are investigating this incident. 

At approximately 3:35pm, officers responded to the 700 block of Newtowne Drive as a result of several callers reporting shots fired in the area. No victims or suspects were located.
