State Delegate Latoya Nkongolo, County Councilmen Pete Smith & Nathan Volke Among Attendees at BW UMMC 60th Anniversary Gala

The Baltimore Washington Medical Center Foundation marked a major milestone on Saturday evening, November 8, 2025, hosting its 60th Anniversary Gala at The Hall at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland. 

District 31 State Delegate Latoya Nkongolo, Anne Arundel County Councilmen Pete Smith (District 1) and Nathan Volke (District 3) were among those who attended the gala. 

The black-tie optional celebration, hosted at The Hall at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland on Saturday evening, November 8, 2025, marked a major milestone. The event brought together hundreds of community members, healthcare professionals, and supporters to honor six decades of compassionate care and medical innovation at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC). Guests enjoyed an elegant cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, and both silent and live auctions, which featured an array of unique prizes and experiences.

Throughout the evening, speakers reflected on the hospital’s legacy and looked forward to the next chapter in UM BWMC’s commitment to delivering exceptional, community-centered healthcare.
