Deputies Arrest Annapolis Man, Seize Drugs and Guns on Forest Hills Avenue

An Annapolis man was taken into custody after Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s deputies allegedly recovered drugs and firearms during a warrant service on Forest Hills Avenue.

On November 3, members of the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team went to 1036 Forest Hills Avenue to serve an outstanding warrant on Christopher Alan Droll, who remains innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, for drug and firearm offenses. Deputies found Droll inside a camper on the property. According to the Sheriff's Office, when Droll resisted arrest, a taser was deployed, and he was subdued without further incident.

A subsequent search of the property, assisted by Annapolis Police, allegedly turned up 252 grams of suspected marijuana packaged for distribution, along with two loaded firearms.

Droll now faces multiple new charges, including illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, resisting arrest, making a false statement, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He is being held without bond at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center, officials said.

Two deputies suffered minor injuries during the arrest.
