Public Inauguration Ceremony for Annapolis Mayor and City Council Scheduled for December 1; Traffic, Shuttle Services, and Live Broadcast Details Provided
Mayor-elect Jared Littmann and the eight incoming members of the Annapolis City Council will be officially sworn in during a public ceremony on Monday, December 1, at 2:30 p.m. The event will take place at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and is free and open to the public. The oath of office will formally mark the transition to the new mayoral administration.
Traffic and Parking Advisory
Attendees and residents should anticipate increased traffic in the area around Taylor Avenue and Farragut Avenue from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The Annapolis Police Department will manage traffic flow, and motorists are encouraged to allow extra travel time.
Parking at the stadium is free. Vehicles should enter through Gate #5 (Taylor Avenue) and may exit through Gate #2 (Farragut Road) or Gates #5 or #6 (Taylor Avenue).
Complimentary Shuttle Services
The City of Annapolis will provide free shuttle services for residents with limited access to transportation. Seating is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Red Route:
12:30–12:45 PM: Bay Ridge Gardens Community Center; Robin Wood Recreation Center
1:15–1:45 PM: Morris H. Blum; First Baptist Church of Annapolis; Bloomsbury Square Community Center
Blue Route:
12:45–1:00 PM: Mt. Olive Community Center; Annapolis Gardens Recreation Center; Pip Moyer
1:30–1:45 PM: Wilbourn Estates Community Center; Bywater Boys and Girls Club; Eastport Community Center

Live Broadcast
The inauguration will be broadcast live on Verizon (channel 34) and Comcast (channels 99 or 100, depending on location). It will also be live-streamed on the City of Annapolis YouTube channel and linked on the City’s Facebook page.
