FutureCare Opens New Annapolis Facility
FutureCare has officially opened its newest rehabilitation and nursing care facility in Annapolis, bringing more than 200 jobs to the community. The 150-bed facility provides inpatient and outpatient care for patients recovering from medical procedures and managing a wide range of health conditions.
“The health care sector is the lifeblood of Maryland’s economy,” Governor Wes Moore said at the opening. “Facilities like this one not only support our seniors—they create good jobs and economic growth across the state.”
FutureCare Annapolis, located at 2700 S Haven Road, the company’s 16th location in the Baltimore-Washington region and one of over 200 nursing and rehabilitation centers statewide. Long-term care facilities support more than 70,000 jobs in Maryland and contribute over $9 billion annually to the state economy.
“Quality care is only growing in demand,” said Congresswoman Sarah Elfreth. “This facility is a welcome investment in our community, and we must continue to champion accessible, fully funded health care for all Marylanders.”
FutureCare CEO Gary Attman praised the governor’s leadership, noting his initiatives to modernize senior care programs and expand services across the state.
The new Annapolis location reflects Maryland’s broader push to strengthen healthcare infrastructure while creating local employment opportunities.
