Glen Burnie Man Arrested After Gunfire Leads to Drug and Firearm Seizure

A Glen Burnie man faces multiple firearms and drug distribution allegations after police responded to reports of gunfire earlier this week.

On November 3, 2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Anne Arundel County police officers were called to an apartment complex in the 7800 block of Burton Drive for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found signs of a shooting inside one of the apartments but no reported injuries, according to a press release.

According to department officials, detectives with the Northern District Detective Unit obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence, uncovering a cache of illegal drugs, ammunition, and a handgun. Items allegedly recovered included a 9mm Polymer 80 handgun, multiple spent shell casings, live rounds, a digital scale, packaging materials, and an assortment of suspected narcotics—including cocaine, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, amphetamines, and various pills totaling more than 100 grams combined.

Investigators also allegedly found evidence of at least five bullets fired inside the apartment.

The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Christian Rakem Dennis, who remains innocent until proven guilty in a statement of law, was taken into custody and charged with multiple counts related to firearms possession and controlled dangerous substance (CDS) distribution.
