Chief Amal Awad, Anne Arundel County Police Department Lend Support to Miracle Temple Church for Holiday Turkey Distribution

Chief Amal Awad and officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department are once again demonstrating their commitment to maintaining strong community relationships by helping with  a holiday turkey distribution organized by Miracle Temple Church in Lothian. 

In collaboration with employees from Giant Food in Glen Burnie, Chief Awad and the officers helped distribute 125 turkeys to families in need, reinforcing the department’s commitment to uplifting the community.


In a Facebook post, the department highlighted the dedication of its “incredible community partners,” noting that joint efforts like this highlight the power of sustained collaboration. By working hand-in-hand with local organizations, the Anne Arundel County Police Department is strengthening trust and deepening its connection with communities across the county.



Chief Awad’s ongoing emphasis on relationship-building remains central to the department’s mission. Under her leadership, officers continue to engage in initiatives that demonstrate compassion, unity, and responsiveness to community needs.
