Two Men Face Charges Following Arrest in Glen Burnie

Two Anne Arundel County men are now facing criminal charges following an arrest last month that occured in the Glen Burnie area. 

On May 24, law enforcement officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Hilltop Road near Overhill Road. Upon arrival, officers observed multiple individuals occupying a 2021 Acura sedan, department officials said in a press release. Department officials said that as officers approached the vehicle, four subjects fled, while two remained. 

According to law enforcement sources, officers observed a handgun on the floorboard of the vehicle. A thorough search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 260 grams of suspected marijuana packaged for sale, a digital scale, a loaded .45 caliber Glock handgun, and a loaded .40 caliber Taurus handgun. 

Two suspects, both of whom are prohibited from possessing firearms, were arrested, charged and identified as:

Ty Cristin Parker 
21-year-old male

Arjae Howard Mobray
19-year-old male

The identity of the outstanding suspects is currently under investigation.
