Annapolis Senior High School Class of 2025 Holds Inspiring Graduation Ceremony at Maryland Live

The Annapolis Senior High School Class of 2025 graduation ceremony, held yesterday at Maryland Live, was a resounding success. 

The event commenced with heartfelt welcomes from school officials, including Principal Audra Whayland, who expressed deep pride in the graduating class, recognizing their unwavering commitment and perseverance. Superintendent Dr. Mark Bedell offered sincere congratulations, encouraging the graduates to capitalize on the opportunities that lie ahead. 

Representatives from the Anne Arundel County Board of Education and local government shared motivational words, highlighting the graduates' remarkable accomplishments.

 Board Member Joanne Tobin's speech poignantly highlighted the class's resilience, while McKenzie Johnson, class president, delivered a stirring address, focusing on growth, future achievements, and the graduates' boundless potential. Valedictorian Valyria Ruiz de Castillia's thoughtful speech encouraged her peers to approach their futures with confidence, embracing lifelong learning and staying present in their journeys.
