A Compassionate Mother, Daughter, Aunt & Friend Leaves a Lasting Impact, County Homicide Detectives Continue Investigation into the Death of Pasadena Woman
Homicide detectives with the Anne Arundel County Police Department continue to investigate the recent death of a gregarious Pasadena Woman, remembered as a loving mother, daughter, devoted aunt and friend.
On April 4, 2025, at approximately 6:05 a.m., officers responded to a report of a possible overdose in Pasadena's 1200 block of Lorene Court. Upon arrival, evidence of narcotics and a possible assault was observed. Heather Elizabeth Beaver, 34, was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later pronounced deceased. Homicide detectives responded, assumed responsibility for the investigation, executed a search warrant, conducted interviews, and collected evidence. An autopsy performed at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore determined the cause of death to be blunt force trauma, with the manner of death ruled a homicide.
According to an online obituary published by Mccully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, Ms. Beaver graduated from Severna Park High School in 2009. The obituary said she was a bright light, shining with a passion for music, journaling and an unwavering faith in God. Heather's heart was pure gold, the publication said, and filled with love, kindness and a contagious sense of humor that brought joy to all.
