Baltimore Man Faces Handgun, Drug Related Charges Following Arrest in Glen Burnie
A 32 year old man from Baltimore was recently arrested on a handgun and drug related charges, after an arrest in Glen Burnie, according to police department officials.
Yesterday, at approximately 6:45 p.m., detectives from the Eastern District Strategic Patrol Team conducted proactive enforcement in the 200 block of Marley Meadow Lane where they observed a hand-to-hand drug transaction between occupants of two vehicles, the Anne Arundel County Police Department said today.
Both occupants were detained, and a subsequent search yielded suspected crack cocaine, fentanyl, MDMA, Suboxone, Oxycodone, a digital scale, and a loaded semi-automatic handgun reported stolen in a 2021 Anne Arundel County gun shop burglary.
Only one occupant was arrested, charged accordingly, served with two outstanding warrants and identified as: Gregory Akana Hopkins.
