'Slow Down, Annapolis!' City Fire Department Responds After Two Major Accidents Within Minutes

The Annapolis City Fire Department is encouraging drivers to slow down after two major accidents occured within a matter of minutes. 

This morning at 8:22am, the fire department responded to Bywater Road and Forest Drive for a motor vehicle collision.  Less than 10 minutes later, a pedestrian involved motor vehicle crash occured on Capital Drive. 

"We have seen 2 major collisions this morning in a matter of minutes. 2 patients are now at the trauma center," officials said in a tweet.  "Slow down #annapolis and think of others and their families before you decide to drive reckless or distracted."
