Traffic Stop in Brooklyn Park Leads to Arrest of Glen Burnie Man on Drug Charge

A routine traffic stop in Brooklyn Park resulted in the arrest of a Glen Burnie man on a drug related charge.

On September 19, 2022, at approximately 11:50 p.m., an officer stopped a red Chevrolet Impala for a traffic violation in the area of Church Street and Ritchie Highway, police said. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer reportedly noticed the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

 The investigation resulted in the seizure of suspected marijuana, suspected THC gummies, suspected Hashish (total weight approx. 526 grams), and $1024.00 U.S. currency.  

The driver was arrested, charged accordingly and identified as:  Samir Joshua Booth, 20-years-old
