Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Carolynn Grammas for State’s Attorney
The Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Fraternal Order of Police has announced its endorsement of Carolynn Grammas for the position of Anne Arundel County State's Attorney, citing her experience, integrity, and dedication to public service.
In a statement issued on behalf of the organization, the group expressed strong confidence in Grammas’ ability to lead the State’s Attorney’s Office and effectively serve Anne Arundel County residents.
“Carolynn possesses the experience, integrity, and dedication necessary to effectively serve our community and uphold the principles of justice,” the statement reads. “Throughout her legal career, Carolynn has shown an unwavering commitment to public service and an exceptional understanding of the complexities of our legal system.”
The organization emphasized Grammas’ ability to navigate those complexities with fairness and compassion, calling her an exemplary candidate to lead the office. Her focus on fostering collaborative relationships between law enforcement and the community was also highlighted as a key strength.
Members of the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Fraternal Order of Police, who perform their duties within the Anne Arundel County Circuit Courthouse, noted that they regularly observe the work of the State’s Attorney’s Office. According to the statement, those daily interactions have provided them with direct insight into Grammas’ performance in the courtroom.
“They have also witnessed firsthand the leadership, professionalism, and advocacy that Carolynn Grammas brings to the courtroom for victims and for the County,” the statement continued.
