Stray Bullet Struck Nine Year Old Child in Glen Burnie, Police Said

The Anne Arundel County Police Department is investigating the circumstances around a child being struck by a stray bullet in Glen Burnie.

According to a statement by authorities, a 9-year-old gunshot victim was taken to the emergency room at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center on November 13, 2022, at approximately 1:45 a.m.  "The parent of the victim indicated that the victim was struck by a projectile that entered through the front door of their residence in the 300 block of Lindera Court," the statement said.  "The victim was treated for serious, non-life-threatening injuries."
