People Builders Consulting Spreads Holiday Cheer to Hundreds of Children and Families During 3rd Annual Toy Drive in Annapolis
People Builders Consulting, under the direction of Toni Strong-Pratt, served holiday cheer to 500 children and 200 families on Sunday, December 14 at the American Legion on Forest Drive.
“This toy drive aligns with our mission as we are exposing young people to what community outreach looks like and the skills required to sustain this type of work. Community engagement is a core component of our programming, and our participants take part in outreach opportunities regularly,” Ms. Strong-Pratt said. “The inspiration for the toy drive came from a friend, Shirley Gordon, who is now deceased, whom I assisted with Toys for Tots distributions on Clay Street.”
Sponsors for the toy drive included John Maggio of Hawk Marketing, Toys for Tots, First Christian Community Church of Annapolis, Steve Miller Partners, Moons Barbershop, Salon DeJesus and the American Legion.
“This initiative would not be possible without every partner playing their role. Because People Builders Consulting is intentional about relationship building, we have been able to grow this effort into a well oiled machine,” Strong-Pratt told Report Annapolis News. “My prayer is that this initiative sends a clear message: when organizations partner with local community leaders and other organizations to meet the needs of all communities, we all win. By working together for a common cause, we break down barriers of separation, and People Builders Consulting Toy Drive 2025 did exactly that."
