Navy Wins 17-16 in Thrilling 126th Army-Navy Game as Governor Wes Moore Cheers On in Baltimore
The Navy Midshipmen defeated the Army Black Knights 17-16 in Saturday's Army–Navy rivalry game at M&T Bank Stadium before a crowd exceeding 70,000, which included Maryland Governor Wes Moore.
According to ArmyNavyGame.Com, the decisive play came with 6:32 remaining in the fourth quarter when Navy quarterback Blake Horvath completed an 8-yard touchdown pass to Eli Heidenreich on fourth-and-goal. Navy then held the one-point lead against a final Army drive.
"Feeling a little outnumbered in the stands between Ruben Gallego and these mids," Governor Moore said on social media. "At least Senator Mark Kelly isn’t here to really rub it in.
C’mon Army, let’s keep it up!"
